I love maternity photography, and I love Hamptons photo shoots, so you can imagine my excitement over this beach shoot.

Here’s beautiful Lauren, at 32 weeks in East Hampton, NY. What a superstar! It was great working outdoors. I love the changing light, and beautiful scenery.

Lauren’s confidence radiates here, and shows the power and beauty of pregnancy. This is such a special time in a woman’s life, it’s an honor to document it.

We did a mix of photos in the water and on the beach, it was a beautiful day and great to be working together outdoors.

It was great being on the beach. As a pregnancy photographer Manhattan, I work outdoors and in studio but don’t often get to work at the beach unless I’m in the Hamptons or Greenwich CT. Getting to work at the beach is one of my favorite parts of my job.

You are welcome to bring dresses and outfits to wear, or use some of mine. Some people like to wear very little, but that’s entirely up to you.

Beautiful silhouettes can be captured in almost any amount of clothing, and my knowledge of lighting, posing, and editing will showcase the beauty of your pregnancy.

These shoots are so much fun!

Typically I recommend doing the shoot between 29 – 33 or 34 weeks, so you look very pregnant but are still comfortable moving around a bit. However some people end up doing the shoot a bit earlier or later than that if they want the shoot to take place during their beach vacation, and that’s totally fine too!

We had an amazing experience with Daisy, professional and wonderful with children. I was nervous how our session would go, but my son was totally calm and cooperative. She really got to know more about him beforehand so during the session he was very engaged. Highly recommend her! The only downside is that her studio is up a couple of flight of stairs, but you can keep the stroller downstairs.

Daisy is absolutely amazing! Not only does she take fabulous photos but she goes above and beyond to make her subjects (and their parents) feel comfortable! I have never had a photographer ask about my child's interests and favorite music so that they had a guaranteed subject to talk about while their favorite music played in the background! From the first communication, Daisy and her team were wonderful. I communicated with them seamlessly through email to pick the time/date for my babies photos. My family decided to go to Daisy’s studio for newborn photos. We immediately walked into a calm and welcome environment. Please note that we did walk two flights of stairs. You can leave your stroller at the bottom of the stairs. Daisy and her assistant were wonderful and quick getting family photos along with just my daughter’s. My daughter was a bit fussy but Daisy was able to calm her and get the most adorable photos with ease.Communication post photos were great too. Photos were available for us to review earlier than she said they would be and picking a package from the shoot for prints was easy as well. I would highly recommend Daisy and look forward to using her in the future.

Daisy was amazing! My partner and I scheduled a maternity shoot with Daisy and she was prepared right when we got there, very personable and made my pregnant partner very comfortable. My partner also has some pregnancy shots she had seen and wanted to recreate for her own shoot, and Daisy was more than willing to make her vision come alive. We had a great time while we were there and the photos came out beautifully. Daisy makes the whole experience fun, comfortable and easy!

Daisy is an amazing artist-photographer and her work is unique and inspiring! We had our shoot in Central Park and it was well-organized, fun and truly unforgettable experience. Daisy is amazing! Communication from the very beginning was phenomenal. She thinks of everything: hair/makeup prep, clothing and weather recommendations year round, shoot locations, and directions. Everything was prepared and the shoot went perfectly. Daisy was very accommodating and answered all of my questions. They were extremely nice and professional. I would use her again if I need more photos to be taken. Her studio is easy to get to. Visiting NYC from Canada and looking for headshots for our 14 year old daughter. Daisy really delivered! Any photographer can take pictures, what Daisy does is different - she works hard to capture the essence of who our daughter is, and she nailed it! I went to Daisy Beatty to get head shots for my daughter not knowing what to expect given that it's often difficult to get my daughter to focus.From the second we walked in, Daisy had a magic touch and warmth that instantly helped my daughter to focus on both the camera and the tasks at hand. My daughter was enjoying herself so much that I, her own mother, became a distraction to her as she was modeling for the photos. I decided to book a studio shoot for my wife on her first Mother's Day. As I went from one photographer to the next I wasn't really finding a lot of originality among the group, and many photographers were unresponsive or seemed to be flaky. Getting our 10 month year old prepped and out for a photo shoot was not going to be easy and we needed someone reliable. Enter Daisy, who convinced me to use the city for our studio and took us for an amazing session in Central Park. We got a lot of great shots in an hour and compared to some of the other photographers, the price is really affordable too. These pictures will be with our family forever and I'm grateful she was able to capture this moment in our history.

Daisy is simply amazing!! The pictures came out amazing and she has a keen attention to detail, she knew my daughter is crazy about Elmo. She surprised my daughter with an Elmo puppet!! My 9-year-old had a blast. Daisy was awesome from the very beginning with scheduling and communicating with us. The photo shoot was so much fun with my daughter dancing to “Baby Shark” and listening to her type of music. We took some great outdoor shoots even though it was so cold outside. We loved Daisy - highly, highly recommend her!! She took incredible photos of us and our newborn and she is literally the baby whisperer. We totally did not appreciate how much patience and work it requires to photograph a newborn until we were there and saw her work with Harry - it's no joke and Daisy was so awesome with him. We can't say enough wonderful things about her!! Also, really appreciate that she asked me about my "good side" ... I forgot to mention this to last two professional photographers we've used and I am super appreciative that Daisy asked, the pictures with us and Harry are so much better for it!!

I instantly fell in LOVE with many of the photos she captured and had on her website. When I called, she and her team were very friendly and worked with me to find a time that fit our schedule. Daisy met us in Central Park - she made my family feel incredibly comfortable and became our friend quickly.
