Just look at this sweet baby! I just loved working with her, at her Manhattan at-home newborn shoot.

We decided on a pale pink and cream color scheme for the newborn session. This allowed us to create a lot of variety in the images, while still keeping things natural and subtle, and allowing the cute baby to be the focus of the images.

Newborn Photography at Home, or in my Manhattan Newborn Studio

I’m pleased to offer clients the choice of doing their newborn shoot at their home, or at my studio in Greenwich Village Manhattan. Either option works well – it’s your call!

For at-home newborn shoots, my assistant and I bring all the necessary props, swaddles, outfits, lighting, and equipment necessary. We create a mini newborn portrait studio in your living room or bedroom or wherever will work best. Before your newborn shoot we can chat on the phone (or at your maternity shoot!) to get a sense of what colors you like best, and we create a shoot based on your preferences.

I know that as parents of a newborn you have a lot going on, so we handle everything required of the shoot.

All newborn shoots include: 

• Editing/retouching of final images

• Swaddles, wraps, and props

• Parent/sibling/grandparent photos, if you’d like

• A trained assistant at the shoot, for your baby’s comfort and safety – you can just relax!

Luckily, Alessandra’s maternal grandmother was there at the time of the shoot, so we got some portraits with her too! I love the image below of the three generations. So sweet!
