Dancer Headshots Manhattan – Ballerina in Times Sq

What a great morning!

Brielle and I met in Times Square for some dance photography.

My mother was a professional ballet dancer, so I’ve always had a great respect for dance. Working with dancers is wonderful.

Brielle did a terrific job! I’m so impressed with how hard she trains. Her discipline and love of dance was evident.

We had a lot of laughs.

We shot a mix of headshots, dancer portraits.

It was nice to get a mix of full-body action shots, and more intimate portraits.

We had a super time. I’m now doing a dancer special for August 2016. Message me using the form below for more info!

As I’ve mentioned, Times Square can be a super place for shoots.

I love the contrast between the scenery, and Brielle’s pristine tutu. Nice to have a little elegance in Midtown, first thing in the morning.

Brielle came down from New Hampshire for the shoot.

It was her 13th birthday, and such a special day. I’ll never forget it!

Dance photography NYC is such fun, I feel very lucky to live in a city with so much talent.
