Whether you’re looking for family portraits or headshots or something entirely different, selecting a photographer can be tricky: Of course you need someone talented and creative, but you also want someone you trust and enjoy working with so that you are relaxed and happy in your photos.

I thought I’d tell you a bit about myself and my mission as a photographer, so you know what you’re “getting into” and get a sense of the fun you’ll have at your shoot.

My Philosophy

I want you to experience the fun of being photographed, alone or with your loved ones, and allow me to document who you are.

Have you ever had a photograph of yourself that’s so beautiful you keep it forever, and display it proudly?

Book a family shoot, and have an excuse to have some laughs with your loved ones, and have stylish, timeless portraits to enjoy forever.

Or maybe you’re expecting a baby and want to document your tiny new addition.

I understand how exciting, exhausting, and overwhelming those early days are with your newborn, and will create a relaxing, safe, and beautiful photo session either in your home or at my studio in Greenwich Village Manhattan.

Tired moms and dads are more than welcome to sleep through the whole thing!

I’ll supply all the outfits, swaddles, and props, and answer all your questions beforehand. On the day of your shoot you can just sit back and take it easy.

As a portrait photographer, I will stop time and capture the moments that will become your priceless memories.

We’ll make sure your shoot is a blast, whether we are listening to hot jamz during a headshot shoot, or humming quietly while photographing a sleeping newborn.

I know the importance of preparation and customizing the experience for each client, so I’m always available to chat about your ideas.

I am honored to help you preserve your memories for future generations, and I want the experience to be fun and relaxing from start to finish.

 

About Me

I have been a full time portrait photographer since 2014. I have done portrait photography on the side since I was in high school.

Previously, I was an attorney in NYC, and before that, I worked in as a television development executive in Los Angeles.

I enjoyed both careers immensely, but photography was always my favorite and kept calling me back.

I spent years taking classes in lighting, retouching, and newborn photography/safety.

I built my loyal client base, and refined my photographic “look.”

Finally in 2014 I was ready to take the plunge and leave the legal world.

I’ve never been happier!

I feel so lucky to be a photographer.

I love what I do and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and your loved ones.
